Our Team
Our experienced teaching and pastoral staff come from diverse backgrounds of ministry and missionary experience. It's not only their academic expertise that will stretch and deepen your biblical thinking, it's their life experience 'on the field' that brings alive what they teach and share.
Teaching and pastoral staff are available as a high priority to our students for consultation on study, spiritual or personal matters among their various responsibilities. They share morning tea and lunch on-campus to maximise available time for fruitful discussion and relationships. Many lecturers also live on or near campus, modelling what they teach in their own lives.
They are also dedicated to pursuing excellence in their continuing academic research, writing and speaking ministries. The highest standards of innovative, contemporary pedagogy are sought to ensure the most engaging and relevant studies for our students. SMBC is also fortunate to draw from a wide range of experienced visiting lecturers from both here in Australia and overseas.
Our management and service team also represent the interdenominational nature of SMBC and bring a rich blend of experience and skills. They help oversee the day-to-day operations of the College, as well as support the staff and students.
