
Master of Arts (Ministry)

The Master of Arts (Ministry) is a two year full-time course but it may also be studied on a part-time basis over a maximum period of eight years. It is for students who have completed a degree in theology such as the Bachelor of Theology, Bachelor of Ministries, or Master of Divinity. It is primarily intended for those already involved in ministry and who wish to further develop their understanding and skills in a number of ministry areas.
The Master of Arts (Ministry) requires the completion requires the completion of 64 credit points (eight Units) of 700 level Units. 32 credit points must come from Units in the fields of Evangelism and Missiology (EM), Pastoral and Church focus (PC) or Developmental Ministries (DM). This includes a project of at least eight credit points (8,000 words) in one of these fields.

Students who graduate with the Master of Arts (Ministry) having achieved a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.8 or above as well as a Distinction grade or better in a 15,000 word project (worth 16 credit points) will be eligible for direct entry into the research-based Master of Theology.
