Associate Degree of Theology

Australian College of Theology Award

The Associate Degree of Theology is a two year full-time course. It is offered through the SMBC School of Cross Cultural Mission and aims to provide students with a foundation in Bible and theology as well as providing the opportunity to focus on mission studies.

The purpose of the Associate Degree of Theology with missions specialisation is to prepare students for gospel ministry in cross cultural settings within Australia and overseas.

It is open as a first degree to students who have achieved a Universities Admission Index (UAI) score of at least 75.00 (or equivalent). However, where an applicant has not completed the HSC, mature age entry will be favourably considered.

The Associate Degree of Theology requires the completion of 64 credit points of study at undergraduate degree level and may also be studied on a part-time basis over a maximum period of six years.
