Preaching the Old Testament with Integrity

THe Old Testament remains a mystery for many believers. Questions such as the relevance of old covenant Jewish law for new covenant Gentile believers, and how apparently archaic rules fit in with living God-honouring lives in the 21st Century. This year we will spend and intensive Saturday addressing these types of questions.
Preaching the Old Testament with Integrity is aimed at developing our ability to understand and apply the Old Testament - for ourselves and especially for those who preach, lead Bible studies or youth groups and are involved in discipling others.
Key Note Speakers include Dr Paul House - a well-known writer on Old Testament theology and Associate Deand and Professor of Divinity at Beeson Divinity School in Birmingham, Alabama; and Kirk Patston - Senior Old Testament lecturer at SMBC and has recently completed a commentary on Isaiah.
