Available MA/DMin Units

SMBC's commitment to training people for Christian ministry extends to providing further training for those who are involved in ministry after already having completed a first theological degree.

The units which SMBC offers in its postgraduate coursework programmes aim to provide students with opportunities to develop their ministry skills and facilitate further theological contemplation.

A feature of these units is the ability to do assessments which have direct relevance to the student's ministry involvement.

Most of these units are run on a week long intensive basis.

• EM and PC units count as ‘ministry’ units, while TH, OT units count as ‘theology’ units.
• 700 level units are for the MA(Theol), MA(Min) and MACS; 800 units are for the DMin.
