New Testament

Alan joined faculty in January 2005. Originally from New Zealand, Alan has studied the Bible and theology in New Zealand, Australia, and most recently at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Chicago, USA. Whilst in Chicago, he completed his Master of Divinity and PhD (in the book of Acts) and was PhD Theological Studies Programme Scholar for Dr Willem Van Gemeren and Graduate Assistant for Dr D A Carson. Alan and his wife Alayne have two daughters — Deborah and Rebekah.
