Prior to studying at SMBC Pierre completed studies in English and linguistics at Sydney University and worked as a TESOL trainer with the NSW Department of School Education. Pierre lectures in Spiritual Formation for Professional Ministries, is the Dean of Single Men and Course advisor for the Diploma of Theology. Pierre and his wife Caroline, their two daughters and son attend Ashfield Presbyterian Church.
