Introduction
The
Master of
Arts in Christian Studies program is accredited
with the Australian College of Theology (ACT) and is
intended for students holding a non-theological
undergraduate degree from an Australian University
(or equivalent). It aims to equip students with the
biblical and theological understanding and skills
needed to integrate theological reflection with
their present or future occupation and/or life
interests.
The
program is particularly suited to those who intend
to return to their profession following graduation.
It would also be appropriate for Christians moving
into a ministry context at home or overseas in which
the exercising of their existing profession will be
a key part of their work.
The
Master of Arts requires satisfactory completion of
64 credit points, although students may withdraw
following completion of 32 credit points and gain a Graduate
Diploma in Christian Studies.
The Master of Arts must be completed within
six years of commencement, and the Graduate Diploma
must be completed within four years.
