GRADUATE DIPLOMA OF DIVINITY

Introduction

The Graduate Diploma of Divinity is a one year full time course accredited by the Australian College of Theology. It is for students who hold a non-theological undergraduate degree from an Australian university (or equivalent) and are considering heading towards cross-cultural ministry in which their profession will be the focus of their ministry.  It would also be invaluable for those seeking further training in order to enhance their ministry contribution to their local church.

The Graduate Diploma of Divinity requires the completion of eight semester length subjects (32 credit points) drawn from those offered at Master of Divinity level. The complete Graduate Diploma may be surrendered for 32 credit points towards the Master of Divinity which may then be completed with two more years of full time study.

Full time Graduate Diploma students also study concurrently for the SMBC Certificate in Biblical Studies. This Certificate requires completion of eight core subjects as well as satisfactory participation in College community life.
