The Australian College of Theology (ACT) has accredited SMBC to offer individual Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) subjects. This means that candidates for the degree must first enrol at a College that has been approved by the ACT as a sponsoring College.

The subjects offered by SMBC are delivered in intensive format, with the lectures being contained within a period of no more than ten days.
