COURSE OVERVIEW

The College offers a wide range of courses designed to meet the needs of Christians from various backgrounds, experience and levels of academic attainment. Lack of formal academic training, however, is no barrier to entry into a challenging and meaningful course of study that can be tailored to individual needs. These courses are:

Certificate in Biblical Studies (SMBC)

Accreditation

Sydney Missionary and Bible College is accredited by the Australian Department of Education, Science and Training (DEST) as an approved teaching institution of the Australian College of Theology (ACT). The ACT is a national consortium of some 25 Bible and Theological Colleges and is authorised as a Higher Education Provider by DEST. The ACT courses taught at SMBC are accredited by the NSW Department of Education and Training.

The ACT is registered on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS). The ACT's CRICOS Provider Code 02650E. The Bachelor of Theology and the Master of Divinity are registered as Category A courses for overseas students.

 

SMBC is a member of the Australian Council for Private Education and Training (ACPET), the South Pacific Association of Bible Colleges (SPABC).
