It
is important that students are
competent in the interpretation,
proclamation and application in the
contemporary world of God's Word.
Therefore, the study of the Bible and
theology is central to College
courses. The responsibility for
administering the academic program of
the College lies with the Faculty.
We
also seek to provide an educational
environment that is conducive to
genuine growth in godliness and
intellectual rigour in the disciplines
of Bible, theology, pastoralia and
missions.
Although recognizing that learning is
not an end in itself, the College
assumes the responsibility of teaching
Biblical and theological disciplines
in a manner consistent with academic
excellence. All academic life is a
means to realizing a greater devotion
to Christ, a deeper understanding of
what it means to be a Christian in the
modern world, and greater
effectiveness in serving Christ.
The approach of Scripture is
exegetical and expository, seeking to
combine mastery of the contents with
the ability to think cogently and
creatively. Students are provided with
the means to become thoughtful and
proficient in their service for
Christ.
