Q:
There are many Bible Colleges in Australia. What are
the significant features of Sydney Missionary and
Bible College (SMBC)?
A:
The Sydney Missionary and Bible College is the
oldest continually operating Inter-denominational
Bible College in Australia. We offer a full range of
theological academic qualifications combined with a
strong focus on cross cultural mission as applicable
for those working within Australia and
overseas.
We also devote time (over and above the
general academic timetable) toward
training our students to preach God's word
faithfully. As the majority of our
students are residential, there is also a
strong emphasis on community within the College.
The
Bible is central to our curriculum.
Sydney
Missionary and Bible College models a Church
community rather than a University and as such, our
faculty, many of whom live on the college campus,
spend much time with students. There is mutual
encouragement and
spurring one another on toward a deeper trust
and love for God.
Q:
Can I be a non-residential full time student?
A:

Q:
I am leaving school and would like to study at SMBC.
What do you suggest I do to prepare myself for study
at SMBC?

College, we strongly recommend and prefer students
to have gained some prior work and/or study
experience as well as demonstrated local church
involvement.

the College at other times?

arrange a suitable time.
